This series began with the original Balaclava Boy image, first created for Tower Gallery’s black-and-white themed exhibition. Using that starting point—along with drawings from my sketchbook—I developed a new collection that expanded the story and visual energy of the work. Through this process, the project naturally evolved into Balaclava Boys E16 – Silvertown, a reimagined and more expressive series.

Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize — London & Liverpool
Selected works exhibited as part of this prestigious drawing prize, first in London, followed by the Liverpool tour.
I’m delighted to share that my work has been included in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize, a celebration of artists who explore the many possibilities of drawing. This exhibition brings together heartfelt, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted works, and I’m truly honoured to be part of it. Being included means a great deal to me, and I’m excited for others to experience the creativity and care behind the pieces on display.
